Ms L Frederick
Sixth Form Registrar
I support the Sixth Form team in all matters of administration, including admissions, attendance monitoring and communication.
As Sixth Form Registrar, Ms Frederick is the first point of contact for students and parents to assist with admissions. She also supports the Sixth Form team in other areas of administration, including attendance monitoring, social media and manages our very regular student and pupil communication efforts.
Ms Frederick studied Textile Engineering at Leeds University and has also lectured in Product Development at the London College of Fashion.
Ms V Duggan
I provide support during study periods in the library. This includes the provision of relevant print and online articles and recommendations for fiction and non-fiction.
Ms Duggan manages the library and research services for the Sixth Form and helps supervise student study in the library.
Ms Duggan (MBA) graduated from Royal Holloway College, University of London, with a BA Hons in English, Drama and Theatre Studies. She completed her PGCE from The Institute of Education. Ms Duggan spent 12 years working in banking prior to teaching Business in a sixth form centre.
Ms A Allan
The careers department is there to support you through Sixth Form and to enable you to look ahead to your next steps.
Ms Allan arranges workshops and multiple interactions with employers & workplace visits, along with organising impartial careers advice sessions which we facilitate through external advisors.
With an art school background, Ms Allan's first job was working as an editorial assistant on magazines which then led into the online world managing websites for Topshop, Topman and later Urban Outfitters.
Ms H van Rozen
Sixth Form Co-Ordinator
I assist the Deputy Head in the UCAS process and organise events and trips, as well as co-ordinate extra-curricular programmes for the Sixth Formers.
Ms van Rozen assists students with their UCAS applications and checks all applications before they are sent off. She also liaises between WLFS and partnership schools and organises the Higher Education Week every July.
Ms van Rozen has a BA (Hons) in European Management and she has previously worked in relationship management for a large financial information provider.
Mrs K Brook
Sixth Form Receptionist
I greet students, staff and visitors who arrive at Franklin House. I monitor student attendance, respond to general queries and provide administrative support to the Sixth Form Team.
Mrs Brook is the first point of contact for general queries from students, staff and visitors. She monitors student attendance and provides administrative support to the Sixth Form Team.
Mrs Brook emigrated to London from Canada in 2006 and has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Western Ontario, as well as ten years experience working in banking.
Ms R Ridout
Sixth Form Assistant
I provide logistical and administrative support for many aspects of sixth form life, such as maintaining our website, general reception duties and acting as Executive Assistant to Ms Thomix, Head of Sixth Form.
Ms Ridout regularly collates the Opportunities Bulletin, runs woodwind sectionals during the weekly orchestra practice, and has extensive First Aid knowledge due to her background working in the London Ambulance Service.
Ms Ridout has a Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree from the Royal College of Music and a Master of Arts in performance from the Royal Academy of Music. She also has a Level 4 Diploma for Associate Ambulance Practitioner from her time working as Emergency Ambulance Crew with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
