  • Monday 27 September 2021 Happy 10th Birthday WLFS This month we celebrate 10 years since we opened West London Free School. Join us a journey through the last decade.
  • Monday 13 September 2021 10 Year Celebrations This September we celebrate 10 years of West London Free School. At our anniversary celebration we had the privilege to hear from our guest of honour, The Right Honourable Nick Gibb, along with other key members of the West London Free School community.
  • Tuesday 10 August 2021 A-LEVEL RESULTS DAY 2021 Year 13 pupils have had an extremely challenging two years of Sixth Form study, but have triumphed in this adversity through their commitment and perseverance. We offer them all our very best wishes for the next stages in their education and careers, and hope that they retain fond memories of their experiences at the West London Free School.
  • Monday 28 June 2021 YEAR 13 SPORTS AND WELLBEING DAY We had a Sports Day and Wellbeing Event last week with our Year 13s. As you can see from the photos below, everyone got into the spirit of things and enjoyed some physical exertion in the fresh air.
  • Thursday 17 June 2021 YEAR 12 GEOGRAPHY TRIP On the afternoon of 15th June, all the Year 12 Geography students travelled to East London to practice their fieldwork techniques. Despite the heat, they all collected data about the physical and human environment which they will use in their pilot coursework.
  • Thursday 10 June 2021 VIRGIL'S AENEID TRIP Monday, 7 June, a select group of Year 12s attended the event ‘ Virgil’s Aeneid: lessons on fleeing, hope and resilience’. This was the first event to be held at the historic Wilton’s Music Hall in East London since March 2020, and it was wonderful to be part of the socially distanced audience celebrating a return to cultural life!
  • Tuesday 1 June 2021 SENIOR PREFECT TEAM Each year students in Year 12 can apply to join the Senior Prefect Team for a one year term. This month we welcomed the new Senior Prefect Team who will be taking over from our wonderful 2020-21 team. They will take a lead on organising initiatives to enhance the Sixth Form community, working closely with their peers and Sixth Form staff. Huge thanks to the 2021-21 Team for all of their work and their excellent handover to the new team.
  • Monday 10 May 2021 DIRECTOR OF SIXTH FORM APPOINTMENT Our current head of sixth, Davina Thomix, is due to leave the school at the end of the academic year. � After a recruitment process we are pleased to announce the appointment of Georgina Speller.
