The sixth form students at West London Free School have achieved extraordinarily well this year. We are immensely proud of all our students and their achievements in gaining entrance to so many competitive courses at top universities.
- The most popular destinations this year for West London Free School students are the University of Bristol (20 students), University of Leeds (10), King’s College London (8), Queen Mary University of London (8) and UCL (7).
- 38% of the courses that WLFS students will be attending have a Social Sciences focus, 33% are STEM courses (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), 26% are Humanities courses, and 3% are Music and Creative courses.
- The most popular courses this year are Economics (11 students), History (10), Engineering (9), Philosophy related courses (6), followed by English and Geography (5).
- 77% of WLFS students will be attending their first-choice destination and 68% of the cohort will be attending a Russell Group or equivalent university.
- Two students have been accepted to highly competitive Degree Apprenticeships; Environmental Science at AtkinsRealis, and the Technology pathway at DXC Technologies.
- Seven WLFS students will be studying at Oxbridge, including Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Classics, and History of Art at Cambridge, as well as Classics, History and Spanish, Mathematics, and Music at Oxford.
- A record number of WLFS students have been accepted onto medical courses, with two studying Medicine at the Liverpool University and Aston University; one studying Veterinary Science (a first for the school) at Liverpool; and one studying Dental Surgery at the University of Leeds.
- Four students will pursue one-year Art Foundation course at UAL or KCC Morley, and 75% of these students have also already secured a deferred entry university place for 2027 start.
- Abroad, WLFS students will be attending New York University, Trinity College Dublin, and Trinity University Texas on a football scholarship.
